My recruitment poster “Maybe It's Time To Add A New Suit To Your Wardrobe” has been included in the Oxford University Press 2015 publication of the WJEC Eduqas GCSE English Language: Student Book 1. This student book is utilized in UK schools for the development of reading and writing skills. The poster is used in a chapter on “People Of Today”, in a section about how writing presents achievement. The poster is in the activity section of the workbook and asks the student to view the volunteer firefighter recruitment poster and explain why the imagery and the text of the poster are effective.
